Orientation Team Recruitment: 2019

I worked as part of the Orientation Team for two years while I attended Johnson & Wales University: one year behind the scenes as an operations assistant, and then one year as an orientation leader, leading tours with a group of orientees and coaching peer mentees as a “veteran” member.

In addition to this, I also offered my time to create the recruitment flyers, posters, and print assets because I was eager to help my team, and excited to take part in creating official marketing materials for Johnson & Wales as a student designer.

During my service on the team, I created numerous promotional materials on my free time, outside of orientation training.

This project for the 2019 info session materials included adapted designs for different channels, both digital and print.
I spent time analyzing the university’s own marketing materials.

Funny enough, I also worked in the university’s “Resource Room” where I created flyers and used a large format printer to deliver materials requested by different clubs and organizations on campus. So, I designed the materials, printed them, and even helped put them into place.
